Frequently Asked Questions

Your first point of contact should always be your child’s teacher. Please share your concerns with your child’s teacher. You and your child’s teacher will then formulate a plan to provide in-class interventions (Tier 1). If the interventions are not successful, and further support is required, your child’s teacher can submit a COST referral. Once a COST referral is submitted, a team of staff members will evaluate your child’s needs and create a Tier 2 support plan for your child.
