Music

During this period of Distance Learning, I provide K-5 students with musical enrichment activities and experiences.  Activities include: exploration of musics of various cultures,  Singing and pitch development for the younger students,  hand to eye coordination activities for all students, pre music notation symbol decoding,for all students, introduction to music notation for grades 3-5, and creative composition activities for all students.  I feel that during Distance Learning it has been my task to find resources for students to build connections with music.  I hope that these foundations will help spark students interest in joining our instrumental music program once in person school resumes.
